5.0 out of 5 stars  it was excellent. Any chance of more been produced
By Liz. Price on February 06, 2014
Unfortunately this product is no longer being manufactured, and I did receive a refund. However, in the past when I used it, it was excellent. Any chance of more been produced? I'm still interested.
Liz.

4.0 out of 5 stars  Avoiding Gum Surgery
By mzzbee on June 24, 2013
I bought this because another reviewer said it healed his gums. My dentist told me I needed extensive gum surgery -- very painful and hideously expensive. I left his office saying to myself "screw that!" I immediately went on line and found out about Plax which I ordered here on Amazon. Plax is for plaque, a biofilm that captures bacteria and destroys your gums and teeth.
I already knew that many doctors recommend brushing with bar soap as any bar soap also kills bacteria.

Are my poor gums getting better? Yes, they are definitely improving but considering all the products I use, how would I ever know if it is only because of this MSM toothpaste?

1. Rinse with Plax for 60 seconds (directions say 30).
2.I then brush with the MSM toothpaste, Ivory bar soap, or a coconut oil toothpaste. Sometimes I brush with a strong MMS solution. (see my MMS review) It is said to tighten up loose teeth in a few days or weeks. Just be sure to rinse very thoroughly as some have said it may hurt your enamel if you leave it in your mouth.
3.Lastly, I swish for several seconds with an MSM solution that I found on a blog extolling it's effectiveness for gums (1 Tablespoon MSM in 8 oz. of distilled water with 6 or 8 drops of oregano oil. 8 ounces will last a week or more. I bought the NOW brand MSM here on Amazon.
4. I sometimes swish with 3% peroxide -- it kills bacteria, too. Try it first thing in the morning, before brushing, and you'll have a foam explosion. All that foam is dead bacteria.
5. I also take 3 one-ounce servings of homemade Liposomal C on an empty stomach. This stuff will cure just about anything including your dental problems.

All of this may sound like overkill but I am not a slave to this routine. I don't sweat it if I miss a dose of Lipo C or forget to use Plax before brushing. I just try to do the best I can. Like most people, I get lazy, forgetful, or too busy.

What is really annoying is that very few dentists ever tell you about Plax, MSm toothpaste, etc. All they know is to tell you to floss. They don't make money on Plax. By the way, don't ever, ever get a root canal. Another dangerous & expensive procedure that dentists like to do when they can't find anything else wrong with your teeth and want to buy a new Mercedes.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Excellent with NO fluoride
By anonymous on April 11, 2012
I came across this toothpaste about 5 years ago. My gums were receding and were in need of surgery. Someone recommended this toothpaste to me and I started using it, not thinking it was going to do anything for such a serious problem. My next check up was amazing. They kept measuring and remeasuring my gums and comparing from my previous check up, and I think they thought that they made an error! But, in short, my gums improved soooo much that they did not speak of surgery at all and were curious as to what I was doing to have such a dramatic improvement.

I have used this toothpaste ever since and others I have told about have used it and have had similar experiences.

Also, I have read much about fluoride. The studies say it is good for your teeth...I might not argue that...but it is NOT good for your gums or mouth or anything other than your teeth. If you can brush your teeth without getting any toothpaste in your mouth than you are a better person than I.
Added to this...if it gets under your tongue it can go directly into your system...like taking something sub-lingual.
A little a couple of times a day can, to me, cause a lot of potential problems. There is so much about fluoride causing such a health risk...I will NOT risk it.

Try this toothpaste. I hope you have as good checkups as I have had since I started using it.
