Waterpik battery woos
|

I have had mine for 5 months. The battery is why I can't give it full stars. I took my second waterpik. Same thing happened with my first one. I took it apart today to check the battery since it loses pressure within 20 seconds from a full day charge. It's a 1300mAh 2.4V battery soldered on. I really think that's rediculous since I want to JUST replace the battery NOT the whole unit. I also noticed a bad smell from the interior compartment which means this thing is leaking water by the battery. So those who take it in the shower I would stop doing that!

Use it all the time but not sure it is as strong as an electric one.

I gave it one star just so I could get your attention. It stopped working after one week. I am not satisfied.

Works well

I like it. Even the Low setting is pretty strong. I have not tried the "High" setting. Water tank is fairly large but gets used pretty rapidly. Still allows time for a good teeth cleaning.

Does a great job of "flossing" my teeth

I had an older model - bigger tank, but clumsier to use overall. This one needs a refill half-way through use - but that is the only drawback to this handy smaller size. Does a great job of "flossing" my teeth, and especially cleaning under bridges. I'm very happy with it.

Good for travel. Not as forceful as the non traveling kind. But it's still good and I use it on the road constantly.
