Great Study Tool!, April 19, 2017

I've only read the first chapter, however, from the first chapter I can tell that it's the perfect book for for anyone who aspires to study Immunology. The text is very easy to understand and breaks down information into chunks that are easy to comprehend. The figures are very helpful as, well as the descriptions under them. The book also comes with an access code for an online companion website which gives readers access to quizzes to test their knowledge of the material. There are also several other feature available with the companion website. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Graduate level Immunology textbook, March 31, 2017

My understanding from immunologists is that this is *the* classic book in the field (updated regularly of course so it includes all the recent stuff). I do find it accessible and informative, and am glad I bought it. My background is in biochemistry and I would say that the book assumes a good bit of knowledge, so if you are not a scientist already, you might want to start with a lower-level textbook. But if you want a good reference or you want to get some advanced knowledge, this is a well-written, well-illustrated book.
