Heavy duty steel hitch mounted bumper cargo carrier basket is designed for class III or IV trailer hitches and can carry up to 500lbs of gear. Can be used with a class II receiver if the 1-1/4" to 2" hitch adapter is used (sold separately). The hitch cargo carrier useable dimensions are 48" x 18.25" x 5" and overall dimension of 50" x 20" x 6" . This low cost, quality cargo carrier has 5" side rails with holes for securing your gear with tie down straps or a cargo net. Can be used on a class II trailer hitch with the optional 1-1-4" to 2" hitch adapter. Hitch pin is not included. HCB-4818 Limitations of Use: Never exceed the maximum tongue rating of your trailer hitch. Your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's suspension to carry a load. Not recommended for hitches less than 12" from the ground to the bottom of the hitch without the use of a hitch riser adapter. Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension to prevent sagging.
