Author Information Ana Castilla DDS MS grew up in Brooklyn, New York but spent most of her college years at The Ohio State University, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005. After five years of general dentistry practice, she moved to Oregon to complete an orthodontics residency at Oregon Health and Science University. She now practices in Salem, Oregon. She is happily married to her husband Eddy and has two pets, a cat named King Louis and a dog named Puchita.
