 Exact replacement, May 9, 2008

This is not a "compatible" strap for a Polar, but the real thing. The only difference from the original is its size; most Polars are shipped with a "Medium" size strap that is adjustable and fits most people, but this "Large" could be better for those who found the "Medium" tight even at its maximum length. Since I had lost the original one, I needed a replacement. The "Large", which goes from 27" to 63", was a better fit for me.

Polar heart rate monitor replacement strap, February 22, 2009

Polar supplies a medium size strap with its heart rate monitor. Unfortunately, I'm not medium. Finding a source to supply a larger strap was daunting, especially since very few outlets carry them. Amazon provided one of those outlets, and I had what I needed within a week, with minimum postage. Can't ask for any more from a vendor. Thanks, Amazon.

 Extra-small is SOOOOOOO small!!, January 31, 2012

I was so happy to find I could replace my stretched-out strap without having to buy a brand new HRM or transmitter. Based on other reviews and the fact that the Medium strap was at its smallest position for me, I ordered the extra small. Imagine my surprise when I measured the new XS strap and found it to be only 10" long...at its maximum length!
I am pretty small (30" around where the strap should fit) and this thing could not be any tighter. It's off to the craft store to go get some additional elastic length and sew it to the strap.
Please, Amazon, put the size ranges for the straps on the product page for ALL the sizes!

I got this strap for my polar f6 when the standard medium strap was just to big, this small strap is NOT that small and was to big for my 35in chest. Im not a small girl by any stretch of the imagination but this strap is to big for me.
I wish that polar would come out with a velcro strap like on other products.
I just cut the end off removing a few inches and sewed it back down, until the elastic wears out Im not going to waste my money.

Great product! I love my Polar FT4; however, I wish that it came with a strap that had more of an adjustment. I am a large guy and was very uncomfortable wearing this strap. As I told the Polar customer service person on the live chat..."the strap rolls on my rolls." LOL I kept having to adjust the strap in the middle of boot camp and spinning classes. I felt like a high school girl on prom night pulling up her strapless dress the whole night. Anyway I digress, after chatting with the Polar representative and asking if they had a larger strap or extender, she just asked me for my address and said she would mail me a larger strap at no charge. I love Polar products you always get what you pay for, buy a good product and it will pay for itself in the long run with great quality and great customer service.

Returned my Polar Heart rate monitor to good as new staus. The old band stopped being adjustable and I was tired of tying knots in it. This fit my ten year old transmitter perfectly, shipped fast, and was inexpensive. They are very hard to find locally and sell for two or three times as much!

Small replacement strap-sizing, February 7, 2012

I purchased this replacement band for the polar t31 transmitter and I am happy with the low cost and quality of the product. It is the exact same elastic band that came with the transmitter but in a smaller size. Here are the correct sizes for the small band- smallest setting w/ transmitter: 23 inches. Smallest setting without transmitter: 11 inches. Largest setting w/ transmitter: 31 inches. Largest without transmitter: 18 1/2. So basically it would fit someone between 23 and 31 inches. Measurements are approximate but may be useful for someone trying to decide if a small is best for them.

It's THE polar strap. It fit my sensor perfectly.
Being elastic and used on a sweaty body during exercise they wear out as all rubber products do.
If you have a Polar sensor and need a new strap, this is your product. Don't hesitate, don't try to extend the life of your existing strap, just buy this, you won't regret it.

Like my medium strap, this strap is good quality - I wear it and rinse it every day and it's no worse for the wear. I ordered a small strap because the medium that came with my heart rate monitor was too large. Now that I have the small, I have it almost as tight as it can go. I am 29" and the straps lower limit is 28" - so I guess it's my own fault for not ordering an extra small, but the sizes just don't correspond with what's typical for shirt sizes - I'm generally either a medium or a small. So in a nutshell - don't go by the size that you would think that you would take, take the time to measure yourself so you can be sure your heartrate monitor is tight enough to get an accurate reading.

Had a very hard time finding the replacement strap for my Polar T31 but found it here on Amazon. Great price and found the "small size" strap which I was happy to find and I ordered, plus I bought an extra strap "just in case".

When my Polar T31 strap broke after 6 1/2 years of use I was afraid I'd have to spend a lot of money to replace the whole strap. I was thrilled to discover that I could replace just the elastic part. The replacement elastic strap is a bargain.

great-- now my heart rate monitor fits! usually the Polar monitors are sold with a Medium or Large strap and even adjusted, they are too big for folks who are neither size. The Small strap fixed everything! Sounds so simple, right? Yet I had to go through the extra step of ordering it..

I have had the watch for 5 years and ran the Chicago Marathon using it. The strap lasted a good 5 years with a lot weekly use. Great product and great experience ordering via Amazon - it arrived early and was exactly what I was looking for.

The original strap that came with our elliptical was a size M and at it's loosest would sometimes slip off my chest during workouts. It was annoying, so I just stopped using it all together. I wear a 34 bra and this strap is snug on it's loosest setting. I've been using it for a couple of months now and it hasn't stretched out any, I haven't had to adjust the size once. It's especially nice because I'm the only one using it, my boyfriend still uses the M one, so no adjusting before each work out, I just pop his off and pop mine on - honestly that convenience alone is worth having the second strap!

This strap does not fit all T31 monitors. The product information suggests that it does, but the newer line of T31 straps are different. Also, you should know that if you buy this getting help from polar is almost impossible (I emailed several times with no response).
