nice and handy little tire repair kit, March 13, 2009
By anordam (Orlando, FL)

This kit could use a 2.5 mm hex wrench in addition to those it contains. The adjustable wrench might not get the job done, but something is better than nothing. Take a box wrench that fits your wheel nut size instead.

Useful Tool Kit, October 26, 2009

Unobtrusive and is carried under the seat. Would have liked the tire-irons to have had a little more space in the kit's interior, but that is not a big deal. This kit works as advertised.

Useful Kit, July 11, 2011
By Ken (New York City)

I have not yet used the kit, therefore don't want to tip the scale. I am not exactly professional, but had assembled/fixed enough bikes (big or small) for myself & friends back in the days (when I was a teen in the 80's). This kit includes the basic tire patching job, and then some. Other essential items would be a spoke wrench and a good air pump, which I have ordered as well. I can't say anything about the durability and the real life usage until I have a chance to use (which I don't really want to). I would recommend this kit to anyone who own a bike and would like to patch their own tires (upon deflated).

Included adjustable wrench is worthless, June 30, 2011
By Sihang B. Fang (Minneapolis)

The set has everything you need except the adjustable wrench is really useless. I've never been able to take a wheel off with it, it just starts to strip the bolts on the bike. Get a stand-alone wrench and you will be set.

Nice Compact Tool Kit, September 14, 2010

This is a nice tool kit to have when you need to make a quick repair or adjustment on the road or trail and there's no other tools available. Easy to stow away in any small space in a bike bag or backpack. And the cute little adjustable wrench really does work.

Subpar Quality, February 24, 2012

I have always been a fan of Park Tools because of their quality. I have several bikes and like to keep a tool kit in each one. When assembling my new WTK-1 tool kit I noticed the adjustable wrench looked very cheap compared to those in my other Park tool kits. I contacted Park Tool and asked if I could replace it with a better one. They advised that in an attempt to cut costs they replaced the better wrench with this one. I advised them that when I am miles away from home I don't want to depend on cheap tools. I will be reevaluating future purchases of the Park brand.

Good Set of Emergency Tools, July 12, 2011
By WrathfulDeath (Phoenix)

This tool kit supplies a good array of tools in case you have something go wring on a ride. The crescent wrench at its maximum will just fit the bolts on most bikes if you don't have a quick release. The set of hex keys will be able to fix most of the things on your bike. The patch kit comes with 6 patches (4 round and 2 rectangular) and should work in the event that all of your spare tubes pop. Overall this kit should get you through the most common fixes you will run into on your ride.

An able compact repair kit for casual bike riders, June 29, 2011

I picked up this bike tool kit for a friend who was just getting back into biking. She needed something to be able to do basic maintenance on her ride, without dropping an arm and a leg. I'd previously used some of Park Tool's larger kits and was pleased with their product, so I hoped this smaller kit would also deliver.
Thankfully the WTK-1 kit came through. It doesn't have everything, but with the patch kit, wrenches, and tire levers, you'll be covered for the great majority of on-the-go bike emergencies. About the only thing missing is a tire pump and pressure gauge.
In short, it's a great set of tools that can easily be stowed on a bike, in one's vehicle, or at home. While it doesn't do everything, it certainly does enough for casual riders.

Decent Tools, March 14, 2012
By culture obsessed (Detroit, MI)

Worked great in allowing me to work on my bike. The wrench is a bit of a waste, if I hadn't of bought a decent set for $10 at the local hardware store I know that it would have broken before fixing but tires and adding on accessories.

Simple Kit, all you need for the road, February 22, 2012
By Great Santini (FL)

Small kit but it does the job for when you're in a pinch. I bought this for the fiance, since I have a larger/heavier kit in my bag, and she just needed a basic kit. As some others have suggested, you may want to include one more tire tube tool and maybe a specific crescent wrench for your bike's nut size. Fits nicely in an Avenir bag.

Good beginner set, January 21, 2012

This set is high quality and good for beginners. However, I think your better off getting a larger set in a multitool or similar. Good quality but a waste of money.

Bike ER tool, January 11, 2012

I bought this at a very reasonable price and glad I did. It gives me a peace of mind when I am out riding my bike by myself without fearing about a flat tire. I have used one of the patches already and it got me home. You will need a few more things, like a mini air pump but this kit is great. The best part about it is the size, very convenient and for the number of things included fit nicely in a cute little pouch.
