4.0 out of 5 stars.  It's good, but not way better than a cheap one, February 10, 2010
By twinsongsun (New England, USA)
This scraper looks fancy, but, after all, it's just a scraper, and it does not work super significantly better than the cheap variety you get at the drug store. It may last longer, though. Scrape windshields side-to-side, side windows up-and-down.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Excellent Scraper, January 24, 2010
By Eric M. Smith
Nice sturdy construction, one blade for ice and one for frost. Works well, and large enough to reach across those large windshields. Nice enough, in fact, for my wife to take one for her car. She isn't easily impressed...this is a good buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Best heavy duty scraper, December 30, 2010
By Cynthia J. Young
Living in the upper midwest provides all sorts of icy deposits on windshields. This scraper is great for plowing through a heavy ice buildup. The "teeth" on one end cut through and break the ice up while the scraper end clears it away. I had one of these for years and then it went missing (could it be my husband saw its virtues?) so had to order another one. Wouldn't be without this little marvel in the winter.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  cleared my windows of frost, January 17, 2010
By anne
i've only used it once, which was on a light frost morning. it made short work of the frost and I was off to work! I only had to use the wide flat side and I'm hoping not to have to try out the other side in case of ice or heavy frost!

This is a very sturdy scraper. It serves its purpose well. I have no problems recommending this to others. Comfortable handle.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Not very effective with heavy ice, February 26, 2010
By callcam
With light frost it's OK, but with heavy ice I use a cup of water.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  does the job!, January 14, 2011
By Danny Truong (Bay Area, CA)
i like how it has a nice foamy grip which works well with gloves. Both ends of it work well to scrape ice and snow. I used the toothed end many times to clean the underside of the car/fender to fit chains in after driving in the snow/ice for a while.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  comfort vs. efficiency, February 11, 2012
By Neshobanakni
The soft handle is inviting, but defeats the purpose of the tool. You can not bear down in order to scrape the hard ice because the padding gives. The same scraper without the padding would be great.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Has Lasted the Winter, February 7, 2011
By Steve G (Massachusetts, USA)
This has been one of the most brutal winters I can remember in the northeast, and I bought one of these scrapers to throw in each car - I've been very impressed! They are a bit lighter than you'd expect, but feel very sturdy in your hand. The big foam grip works well when you're wearing giant gloves, and both scraping edges do a great job of removing ice/frost. Would definitely buy this scraper again!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great scraper, December 30, 2010
By olfac87
Well, it is just an ice scraper after all but there are some bad ones out there. This scraper did the job this morning. It didn't leave skips and it glided nicely over the windshield and windows. Easy to hold. I was initially concerned about the short reach but no problems there. A fine scraper at a good price.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Would have liked a blue one as pictured., November 21, 2011
By J. Ward
Nothing I saw on the page said that colors may vary. I liked the blue (and it matches my Jeep)so I ordered it. It's not like that was the deciding factor for choosing this one but I'll admit I was a bit annoyed when I opened the package and pulled out a red one instead of a blue one as I was expecting.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  ice scraper, January 29, 2012
By Loni Horsley
I ordered this scraper and then found the exact one at a drug store for a lot less. There is nothing exceptional about it. It does the job.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Cost effective and compact, January 29, 2012
By Audio File (Memphis, TN)
Where I live, heavy snow and ice are rare, but frost is common in the winter. I got this because I wanted a cheap scraper I could keep in easy reach without it being an eyesore.
PRO: This is effective on frost, scraping a 4 inch wide stripe both on the forward and backward stroke. It's just small enough to fit in a typical glove box. Lastly, it's cheap.
CON: It does not feel sturdy enough to last very long if you have to use it on thick ice regularly. It does come with an "ice breaker" on the back end. I have not been able to test it yet.

OVERALL: Highly Recommended for those is light snow/frost areas.

By isabel
this thing is so comfy to hold, and has little knotch's in it for you hand and fingers to get a tight grip! It breaks away the ice and doesnt make it seem like you are going to break the window!
It also scrapes away frost and little ice chunkies quick and easy and i did not have to over exurt myself!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Good product!, January 10, 2012

This is a good product and everything arrived in excellent conditions and very fast. The only problem was that I ordered them blue and they sent me red ones. But no harm done. Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Scraper, December 30, 2011
By Thusitha M (Ossining, NY, USA)
Bought this particular scraper based on reviews here and it's great! I've used it a couple of times so far (hasn't snowed much in NY yet surprisingly!) and don't think it scratches the windscreen or anything. Saw a scraper in my friend's car recently and that had a cloth wrapped around the blade, so guess that's a problem with some of the other scrapers.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Scraping made easy..., December 27, 2011
By Nate Tribble
Now to be fair I live in Washington State and have only had to use it twice this winter, but the main thing I liked (both times) is it peeled thru the ice like a warm knife thru butter. I didn't have to scrape the same area three of four times to get the blade under the ice. One or two times and the scraper blade was at glass. Secondary but also nice when using it without gloves; the larger form factor of this ice scraper keeps my hand from going numb with all the ice shavings collecting on my fingers. Sure it's just an ice scraper - but it's a nice ice scraper.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Fits nicely in hand and provides a lot of support, December 23, 2011
By Betli29
I bought this scraper for my trip to Tahoe. It seems very sturdy and I believe it will get the job done. It fits my hand very nicely and provides a lot of control while scrapping. I just hope plastic material its made of wont mess up my windshield.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Heavy Duty, December 17, 2011
By Mihalis the Greek (Saint Louis, MO USA)
This is the best scrapper that I have ever seen just for the fact that it is heavy-duty and has a comfortable hand grip. It works great and will last and last through many uses. There is nothing flimsy about this product!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Decent, December 14, 2011
By Lexy (CA, United States)
It's pretty loud and it takes a while to get all the ice off. I think they could make it better if they angled the scraper a little bit more like the curve of the windshield. But it does the trick, and you really can't beat that price!

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Just a cheap piece of plastic, December 11, 2011
By J. L. A.
I bought this based on not just the description, but the nearly 5 star reviews. Truth be told, this is nothing but a cheap piece of plastic. Tried scraping the thin layer of ice from my vehicle after I received it, took longer than my other scrapers. Was almost late for work. It doesn't scrape evenly and just isn't worth the money. Amazon should delete this item. It's terrible!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Big heavy scraper, December 3, 2011
By William (Smyrna, GA, United States)
Great for getting leverage for scraping ice or frost. It is also large enough to be hard to lose. Works well with gloves.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Best Scraper, December 2, 2011
By Mike
I had frost on my window this morning and I finally got to use this. It took all the frost and ice off without having plastic freeze my hands off because it has a cushioned grip. I highly recommend this. I have a car with minimal space so its easy to store in tight spaces.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Almost perfect, March 28, 2011
By Jonathan J. Dimino (PA USA)
For the price, you can't go wrong. It is pretty small, so might not be good for shorter people. It really crushes through that ice though like BOOM! Ice? What ice?!? I do miss the brush for wiping away crushed ice particals, but not a big deal.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Works better than any other scrapper I've had!, March 28, 2011
By Frank N. Urbanski (Philadelphia, PA)
I really like this because the larger side has given me a more consistent scrape with frost/ice. I am average height and can read to the center of the wind shield of my Mazda 3 so have no worries there. I also feel that since it is shorter I can get more strength into my scraping if that is necessary. I would definitely recommend this.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Awesome Scrapper!!, February 3, 2011
By C. Hight (franklin, IN USA)
I just cleared my car of 3/4 inch of ice. This scrapper has been with me for 3 years. The rough side was the only scrapper that could cut through the ice and I cleared it with the smooth side. I live in Indiana and just got the brunt of the ice storm (my driveway is an ice skating ring). I bought it at a cheap price and it did the job, but it broke right before I was finished. I think this is a great product and the price is right, I am going to buy two.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great for light use., January 4, 2011
By carolinagirl
I live in the south, where we rarely get any serious ice or snow, we do, however get that light frost at night, just enough to cover your windshield and irritate you. This works perfect for scraping my ice off. I can't attest to how it does in heavier ice or snow, but it works perfect for me!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  "Good" Ice Scraper, January 1, 2011
By JollyJay (Florida USA)
This ice scraper does its job without you having to break a sweat. It's light and feels good in your hand. The handle is long enough to be able to use it with 2 hands for added pressure.

The only flaw with my scraper is that its long edge isn't completely straight. I might got a slightly bad unit!? Whatever the case, I still use it since I can't find any at the stores here in Florida.

Happy scraping!

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Works well, but only for what's in reach, March 14, 2011
By Marc C Canton
I think the title says it all, but.....this definitely worked better (i.e. the ice came off more easily) than other ice scrapers for windows, and other reachable areas of the car. The small scraper is especially good for side view mirrors. However, this cannot be your only ice scraper unless you are a professional basketball player-like giant because you won't be able to reach most of your windshield.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  A Picture not worth $2, November 4, 2011
By Taz-I812 (Fayetteville, NC USA)
I know, I know, my "whiney" is showing in this review. I wanted a normal sized but strong ice scraper to go in my truck for the small areas and windows I can reach on my own and this absolutely fits the bill. Great handle shape, nice non-slip neoprene like cover for the "hand" area of the handle. The only reason it gets 4 stars instead of five is for the individual that was asleep when they loaded the product image and/or the person that placed my ice scraper in the box for shipment. That is because I'm one of those "Type-A" guys that gets a little too far down in the weeds when I research and then select an item for purchase. If I see something in a picture with a blue handle that adds to my liking it and the product description in no way says anything about "colors may vary" then I expect to open the box upon arrival and see a blue handle. Well, it does the job and it's dark more often than not when I leave for work so I'm keeping it.
