5.0 out of 5 stars.  Can't beat the value, May 25, 2010
By Charles M. Webb
Super fast shipping, great job! Espcially considering it's free!

Product is as described, padding is in the right area for biking comfort. I still wear breifs under them for additional support but I was only looking for padding, so no worries there, and comfortable nylon shorts over them as I am not much for spandex in public. :)

They are not of the build quality you might expect from your local bike shop but can't beat the price with buy 3 get 1 free. They were made in Bangladesh for unisex use so you can't expect the highest quality and perfect form fitting.

Sizing was a little larger than I expected, but still worked great. I am about a 36" waist and it seemed like it could accomodate much more of me, say up to 40". The material is very stretchy in the gut, butt and theighs.

I gave 5 stars because of the value, under 9$ a pair when other name brands could charge 40/pair. Can't beat it and I'm not going to complain!

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Liner okay, not spectacular..., February 4, 2010
By LoveMyiPhone (Sarasota, FL)
The quality control on these is not great. The inseam is uneven, (too short) and they tend to ride up because of it. They do the job, but just barely. Probably wouldn't have bought them if I'd seen them first.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  they're not terribly comfortable, but they get the job done, February 15, 2010
By jessymadden (college station, TX USA)
it feels like youre wearing a diaper, they fit really weird and dont conform to your body very well, but the padding is effective and helpful to wear on a bike ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Good underwear padding, August 30, 2010
By Tony S. (Hanover Park, Illinois)
This is a good underwear padding. I used this on top of my brief, and I still put on a biking padded short on top of this padded underwear to get some double padded protections. So, I really feel the difference when riding my racing road bike. It is a lot softer now to ride because of the double protection.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Quality Control, June 23, 2011
By William Ferguson (Los Angeles, CA USA)
These bike padded liners are light weight. Some are padded lighter than others and the fabric varies. One pair was so light that I contacted the vender and was told that if I was unhappy to donate them and they would send a replacement. They made me feel a little uncomfortable. Even the sizes were different and another pair would not fit. They were marked with the size I ordered but were really a size smaller. There are other liners available from Amazon that cost a little more but the quality is superior. This is the first product I purchased from Amazon that I have given a bad review. And by the way I am still waiting for the replacement. As of today I received not only the replacement but an extra pair. I have changed my review because the company kept their word and even went out of their way to make me happy. The cost is right for the liners and they do wash well.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Padding is very thin, March 4, 2011
By LR3 Trekker
The padding in this product is very thin. The price is excellent and since I bought 3 and got a fourth 1 free. I wear 2 at a time to get the right amount of padding for comfort. I do not recommend this product if you like lots of padding.

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Tchibo Padded Unisex Cycling Biking Brief Liner, September 20, 2010
By Dung Tran (COSTA MESA, CA, US)
It is okay, the qualify is good for 06 months. If you can pay $15 more then you can get 1 at Walmart which can be better more than twice time life and it is wearable out side.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Just average, August 27, 2010
By Terry Hutt (Running Springs, CA)
These shorts are lighter and shorter in the leg than I'm used to, although the photograph is accurate. The padding is very light indeed.

I'm a long-distance cyclist so these aren't really up to the job. They're probably more suitable for a racer who is more concerned with weight than I am.

All in all I'd say these are appropriate for the price, but I don't think I'd buy them again.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Fulfilling my expectations, August 19, 2010
By Robert Jacobsen (Pleasanton, CA USA)
I bought these padded shorts to wear under my padded bicycling shorts - as extra padding to protect the vascular system for males. And they do their intended job just fine.

There could be more stretch in the fabric but for the price their function makes them an outstanding value for my purposes.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Awesome Cycling Accessory, October 28, 2010
By Lee (Missoula, MT, USA)
These are the greatest cycling accessory that I now own. They are great because they can be worn under whatever exercise outfit I need, be it shorts or pants. And they are so easy to wash that I just throw them right in with the darks load and off I go. I will be getting several more pairs of these because of all the mountain biking my wife and I do.

You really get what you pay for. They are ok for the price, but I would suggest spending a little more for comfort.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Runs big, July 14, 2011
By Barataria
This bike liner is just what I needed to supplement the padding of my cycling pants. It does seem to run big but that doesn't matter to me since I bought it to wear under my pants. Good buy for the money!

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Padding is too thin, July 12, 2011
By D. Barbour (Buffalo, NY USA)
These cycling liners are only ok. The padding is too thin. I purchased them in anticipation of a 2-3 hour ride. Luckily I had enough time to order another pair of gell lined riding shorts, otherwise I would never have made it through the ride. They do fit comfortably, so I have kept them for sorter rides and to double up with my other shorts for all day riding.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Satisfied with this bike liner, July 5, 2011
By Cliff
I am happy with these undershorts. Sure, the fit isn't perfect and the padding is kind of thin, but for the price I am very happy. I ride with regular street clothes with these; my ride is comfortable and later my pants look normal with no unsightly bulges. I've washed them five times so far with no indication of premature failure.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  useful and compact, July 5, 2011
By DC barb (Washington, DC)
As someone else noted, these are not as fully padded as actual bike shorts but they do the job well enough for an hour's spinning class. I like them because they fit under any yoga pant or sweat pant. You get 4 when you buy 3 and this means you can launder less often which is a good thing. I recommend them.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  AWESOME !!!!, May 15, 2011
By Kyle
Just got these, and LOVE THEM !!! They fit great, have excellent padding, and are priced very reasonably. I ride the Rails-to-Trails with my Mountain Bike and do not like wearing my road bike shorts. These conveniently fit comfortably under a pair of running shorts and work GREAT !!! I would highly recommend these Tchibo Brief Liners !!!

4.0 out of 5 stars.  bit big but comfortable, May 7, 2011
By Reality Check (Texas)
These shorts seem to run a bit big. I ordered a large but could have easily worn a medium or small. The saddle padding is comfortable. I wore these with another pair of padded shorts while riding in a MS150 ride.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  comfy undies, October 17, 2010
By JCS (VB, Florida)
the fleece liner is actually a little too big, it compresses the privates in front too much, but the undies make long rides much more comfy on the sit-upon

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Average cycling brief liner, could use more padding, September 6, 2010
By Addy (Sunnyvale, CA, USA)
Pros: Can wear inside any shorts or pants
Light weight, keeps you cool.

Cons: The padding is not enough for long rides
I think it will lose elasticity in a few washes.

Overall: Good product for short rides without the need to wear cycling shorts.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Not for men, August 16, 2010
By Tom Bombadil (A dingle close to the Withywindle river)
The Chamois is better than other liners I have seen, but it does not matter because the short is made out of really stretchy fabric that cannot keep it in place. As soon as I leaned forward to settle into my 13 mile commute I knew I was in trouble. I even got the Medium as suggested, since I am a size ~34. They ride up as soon as you lean forward and if you are a guy this is seriously uncomfortable.

If you have a more upright riding position like on a hybrid bike you might be OK, but I cannot guarantee that; the fabric is really flimsy and when you start sweating it is compounded.

Back to my Spandex riding shorts, yay! :-(

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Good for pleasure riding, July 30, 2010
By MSM
This product is exactly what is says, a brief. It is cotton and probably more beneficial to those riding for pleasure and not for distance or time. Good product for comuters i am a distance rider though.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great underwear type bike shorts, July 15, 2010
By Charles C. Zambrano

I've been useing the TCM PADDED UNISEX CYCLING BIKING BRIEF SHORTS LINER (Large, Black) for about 6 weeks now and I don't think you could find a better set of bike shorts anywhere, I wear mine under my cargo rideing shorts, and find these to be comfortable, non-binding, or pinching in those places that matter the most while on a long, or short ride... I Highly recommend these shorts!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Good fit, very comfortable for what it is, June 30, 2010
By D. R. Merrell (Austin, Texas)
The shorts are very comfortable and help out when on a medium length bike ride. I wear them for my exercise bike as well as the mountain bike. At first, they may seem like wearing a diaper but that sensation goes away after just a few minutes and they seem like normal shorts.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  Ok for the price, March 2, 2012
By filmibuff
The brief is OK for the price and works fine for short, casual cycling trips or indoor spinning. After one wash, the shorts tend to ride up, so they are not that comfortable. Works fine for the occasional cyclist who does not want to invest in biking shorts yet desires comfort.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  terrible!, June 18, 2011
By Eye Bought (Georgia, USA)
These shorts offer little padding and they fit loosely - poor quality and poor craftsmanship. There are much better choices.
