The CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro is an ideal indoor trainer for the multiple-cyclist household. The Flexible Power Curve Technology offers four distinctly different power curves by changing the location of the four resistance magnets; as they move away from the trainer's axis, resistance increases. "Easy" allows you to warm up before a workout. The "Road" setting offers a sharper resistance curve to more convincingly mimic road conditions. The "Interval" setting features a sharp contrast in resistance between low and high speeds, making intervals harder and recovery easier. "Mountain" simulates riding a World Cup course with the resistance of steep, high wattage climbs followed by the skill-focused recovery of a descent. Each flywheel is individually balanced for reduced bearing wear and concentrates its mass at the flywheel's outer edge to maximize inertia; a pause in your pedal stroke won't cause the unit to come to a stop. With the Pro Series frame you get a wider base to back up your biggest efforts, the ability to level the unit, one-sided installation for quick set up and removal and includes the Realrides Race Day DVD. The CycleOps SuperMagneto Pro is foldable for easy storage.
