Polarized Sunglasses, April 10, 2010

Great product and made from high quality materials. I use them for everyday activities and under my helmet when I ride my bike. Once you have tried polarized lenses, you will never settle for colored lenses again.

Good Sunglasses, But..., January 9, 2011
By aqua

These sunglasses are extremely light, so light that you might forget you have them on. The "bronze" tint of the glasses imparts a warm hue to whatever you're looking at - perfect to wear on a sunny, but cold, day. The frame, though light, seems durable, and the sunglasses do not become damaged upon an accidental drop. There are two drawbacks to these sunglasses:
1. Wiping the lenses without using a microfiber or similar cloth WILL scratch them. Be careful.
2. The nose pieces make the glasses sit somewhat crookedly. I have to adjust mine when I put them on.
For the price, these are good sunglasses, better than some 2x or 3x the price.
[UPDATE] So I recently lost my original and decided that these were good enough to buy again. This time I got the bronze AND the smoke colored ones. The nose pieces are actually straight on both of these, so my second gripe is completely gone. You still have to be careful with the lenses. Overall, I'm very pleased. I've had less durable and heavier sunglasses that were 4x the price of these.
Just don't forget that you're wearing these (sometimes they stay perched on top of my head and I forget they're there)

Affordable high-quality optics., November 16, 2010

I wear these glasses nearly every day for cycling. I have had them for about a month and a half. The frames seem durable, and show no signs of fatigue from daily use.
The lenses are exceptionally clear and almost free of distortion. The tint is not dark -- these lenses won't hide your eyes.
These glasses are as good as much more expensive glasses I have owned.

They work, but..., April 26, 2011
By Dennis

These frames may be considered "unbreakable" from the company's point of view, but they feel EXTREMELY flimsy. It's what you get for the price though.
On another matter, these glasses work. I use it when driving, and it does what it needs to. It keeps the glare out of my eyes and doesn't block my peripheral vision so it's a great plus.
I don't have any idea on the UV protection what so ever, so I cannot comment on that. These shades are also very light and they kind of fit; the bottom part of the lenses touching the top of my cheeks rather than sitting on my nose via the nose support.. The lenses also seem to have been "popped" into the frame. When I open the glasses to put on, the lenses make a popping sound, and if you look closely, you can actually see them shifting in their sockets.
I rated based on it's purpose- to provide eye protection and increase my vision on the road during the day. It gets a 5 for purpose, but a 3 for quality of the materials and the assembly.

Incredibly Disappointing, May 24, 2010
By musicaidnow

|
I was hoping for some decent sunglasses, but these are very uncomfortable. The eye peices are loppsided, so the glasses press up against my right eyebrow while the other side of the glasses sit far from my left one and this becomes very uncomfortable.
The plastic the fram is made out of is decent, but the shape sucks since it is lopsided. I like the lenses, but unfortunately the frame is mishapen.
Bottom line, if the frame wasn't so poorly shaped I would like these sunglasses, but since they aren't I'd have to advise anyone wanting to buy these to just save themselves the time and just head on down to a local academy and buy some polarized sunglasses there since you will be able to try them on and won't get stuck w/ some badly shaped sunglasses.

(black & smoke)
I've had these glasses for a few months, and they continue to exceed my expectations. You never notice how much of a necessity a pair of polarized sunglasses are during afternoon driving, until you don't wear them. Let me go into detail.
Pros:
- They drastically reduce the sun glare from oncoming cars.
- They have rubber padding so your nose won't have marks after use.
- They aren't too dark, or too light shaded. I can wear them while driving, and I can wear them while talking to some one. They do not feel like they are talking to a BUG!
- No sunlight gets around the glass.
- The frame considering the price, I have never had a problem with, unlike another pair of sunglasses I owned. (looking at you Chamelius X3 Military Matte!! You stink!)
Cons:
- Because of the coverage area that these sunglasses have, you will look awkward if you are say, waiting for some one outside.
- They aren't well ventilated. I have no a/c in my car, so around my eyebrows, I get a little uncomfortable wearing them for a while. This is easy to maneuver around though.
Overall, i'd suggest these to anyone. i got them just under 25$. You can't go wrong at that price with polarized glasses. A must buy for every day use!!

Great for the price!, May 20, 2011
By A. Chan (CA)

Just got these the other day, wore them to go ride, they work very well and are really polarized! For the price it can't be beat! I don't know about being unbreakable, but they seem like they could take some abuse. But for $20, you can't go wrong. They do seem to kinda tilt forward but that might just be me. If you are looking for some inexpensive polarized sunglasses these are it. You won't regret it.

Small polarization issue. Broke after a month., April 8, 2011
By T. J. McIntee
|
|
They seem better than my last few pairs in terms of fit. I initially had only one complaint: Polarization angle.
The polarization angle seems to be slightly off between the two lenses. So I sometimes see see slight "ghostly" highlights on objects, where I see a little specular reflection through one eye but not the other. It's a small defect or design issue, and both angles are fairly close to vertical, so it's not a big deal.
On the plus side, I can confirm these are genuinely and fully polarized - not all sunglasses marketed as polarized are!
However, I regrettably must say that about a month after I bought these, one of the nose rests fell off. It wasn't broken off by an impact, it just fell off by itself. I wasn't able to find it, so until I wind up with a surplus nose rest, these have gone back on the shelf and aren't being worn anymore.

False advertisement, May 22, 2011

The polarized part of the sunglasses were excellent however they only lasted for 2 weeks and they broke when they fell off my bed onto pergo flooring. Considering they advertised they are an unbreakable frame my rating would be a one.

I WOULD NOT BUY, August 5, 2011
By Daits
|
|
The product is not bad but it is exactly the same product you get from walmart or any other store for less than half the price ( considering shipping too. What makes it so annoying is the attitude of the seller. I wrote to seller about the product being over priced hoping he would give me some explanation as why the product is more expensive or what makes this product better. I also mentioned that I would write a review about the price difference to assist other buyers decision. You guys wont believe the response I received. Seller was so rude and I have copied and pasted exactly the same words he wrote to me.
"Congratulations! I am sure you are of the opinion that the world awaits your every utterance!" This literally means " I don't care what review you write but I don't have to tell you anything".
It is up to you people to deiced whether you still want to buy from this seller paying a higher price; after all it is your money. If you are a person to get the best for your money then go for a better known brand or buy the same product for less than half the money from walmart or Meijer.

Great quality for good price, August 15, 2011
By Gadget Nerd (CA, USA)

When it comes to a good quality pair of polarized sunglasses it's easy to spend loads of money. But when it comes down to it, you are just as likely to drop an expensive pair off a cliff.
This is the beauty of these sunglasses, after a few days of use it's quite clear they are made of a good quality material and will last. However, they aren't so expensive they need to be baby'd.
Made for activity in the sun.

Polarized Sunglasses with TR90 Unbreakable Frame TRPL27
Wear them for golf. Including driving range, I can wear them 5 hours straight in So FL sun. I have absolutely no complaints. Fit great, look great, keep all the sun out, top, bottom, sides. Light enough they is no problem wearing for 5 hours straight, also seem to be flexible and strong enough to take a little beating, will let you know in a few weeks. Great price for a very good product. Thanks JiMarti :)

These sunglasses fit perfectly for me, and the bronze lenses make the even very bright days comfortable for my eyes.
At time of review I'm buying my second pair after six months so that I have a scratch-free lens.

Glasses dismounts too easily, May 2, 2011
By Rudyard
|
|
I started wearing these just a couple of days ago, and I'm not satisfied at all. I was wearing them inside the beach, and took them in my hand to submerge for a moment. Went got out noticed one of the glasses was missing. Fortunetly I was able to find it.
Other negative thing is I feel the glasses distort viewing a little. On the possitive side their very light and look and feel nice. For the price I didn't expect too much, but I don't think these two deffects are acceptable, so I wouldn't recomend buying.

Excellent Glasses! Polarized & UV Protection!, August 30, 2011
By FLYingG0D (GLENDALE, AZ USA)
|
|
I was looking for some sun glasses that provided both Polarized lenses and 100% UV protection. While that might seem relatively easy, I want them to look good too and that is a hard find. I am drawn to the partial frames, leaving the bottom side of the lenses exposed. Thin profile as to not ride on my cheek, and a good wrap-around style frame so I do not get extra light in my eye from the sides.
I live in Arizona, so the sun can be a bit hard to bear after I work inside an office all day. These glasses really help when I go outside in the sun! The polarization gets rid of the excess glare on those overcast days, and the UV protection is a benefit.
I love how these glasses do not cause any noticeable distortion. I checked for it, and am glad I chose these wonderful sunglasses! They allow the air to flow, are very comfortable, and after I put them on I forget that they are there because they are so light and fit very well. They look very good too!
I also flexed the frame, and noted that the lenses slightly slide in the frame, but they do not look like they will be coming loose any time soon. Not without a lot of work, anyway!

Item is flexible and fits well to head. Assuming flexibility helps make them "unbreakable". Comfortable. Sometimes lens will drop but are easily pushed back into place, good as new. Make you look like and agent!

The glasses that I received were not the same color as advertised. The lens we also a different color. The fit was awful and uncomfortable and I am not that hard to fit! When I asked the seller about these issues all I got was a smart ass 2-word answer. I am returning the glasses

These sunglasses are sized small to the point of causing a headache after only a few minutes of wear. Couldn't use them for the intended purpose - sun protection while golfing. Gave them away.

Good & Bad of it!, September 8, 2011
By Review you can count on (Wichita, KS)
|
|
Pros: Very light by weight. You can hardly feel it on your ears. Has soft inserts where it sits on the nose, which is good. Sits well on the eye. Gives a good clear view, no problem there.
Con: May be unbreakable to fall, but definitely not if someone sits on it or steps on it. The glass itself is much darker than what is in the picture, the glass has a more Blackish-Dark Green tinge to it. The product picture definitely needs to be changed to reflect the right product. It says its made in Taiwan...FYI. Does not come with a cloth bag or anything...FYI...I was thinking of returning it due to darker glass shade, I am not sure anymore! Glasses is much smaller than how it appears in the photographs. I felt it was a good buy for $19.99 with free 2 day shipping.

Great Sunglasses, March 31, 2012
By Questionnaire

I recently bought these sunglasses and they work perfect. I was unsure of how they would turn out by looking at other reviews. They are very comfortable, fit nice, and do not fall off if you look down. They could be a bit sturdier, but they are fine. I do not think you will disappointed if you purchase these.

I just received these in the mail. The left lenses was hanging off from the frame when I received them. It seems like the are "pop-ins". I will try to put the lenses back in but I advise you people to stay away from this model. I did not/ do not have a problem with their other models.

Buy another pair, August 30, 2011
By Sean (Corvallis, Oregon)
|
|
I bought this pair of sunglasses to last me for about a month because I did not want to buy another pair until next year. I am a lifeguard and the summer season is ending very soon. I chose it because it was cheap and polarized...bad choice. For starters it feels very cheap. I felt like I was going to break the unbreakable frame every time I put them on. To add to the problems, the sunglasses are not comfortable. I have had $5 sunglasses that feel better. To top all of this off, the lenses are not held in very well. After just one day the left lens popped out of the frame. I tried to fix them but could not figure it out so I sent them back. That was a week ago and I am still waiting for a refund. The only good part is that they are polarized but that got ruined when the lens started to pop out because the two different polarization angles gave me a headache.
After dealing with these I decided to just go out and get a good pair of sunglasses from Oakley that will last me more than a few days. I did not have high hopes for these sunglasses but they somehow feel short of my expectations.
