Although this book is required for my dental school, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading some of the biographies in this book. I find the biographies very interesting.

A great read for everyone, not just medical professionals!, August 10, 2005

This book was brought to my attention by a friend who thought I ought to read it. To summerize, it is collection of incredible deeds done by very dedicated dentists. Dentists dedicated not only to being the best at their professions, but dedicated to being extraordinary humanitarians. The 10 dentists who are profiled in this book are truly the best of the best. I recommend this book to anyone who has any doubts that any one person can make incredible positive changes in our communities and in our world. I especially enjoyed the Chapter 7 profile on Dr. Jeremiah Lowney and his sucessful humanitarian endevors on the island of Haiti. Get this book. It will make you go do something good!
