2.0 out of 5 stars.  A Sales Pitch for the Author's Consulting Firm, July 25, 2015
By Implant Doc
Essentially a sales pitch for the author's consulting firm. A few very common sense ideas that everyone with a good head on their shoulders already knows. The author brags and brags about producing $7-10 million dollars yet he only takes home just over $1 million? If he runs his practice according to the numbers that he gives out in his book, something is not adding up right. It only took about 2 hours to completely read this book cover to cover. I would like those 2 hours back.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Definitely worth the read!, May 13, 2014
By Alex
Clinically speaking, you can be the best dentist in the world, however if you can't sell dentistry, you're going to struggle as a business owner. If you are concerned about losing patients and production to the new corporate style dental office, or you are concerned about losing the income you have grown accustomed to, then you should be reading this book at the very minimum. Profit margins in dentistry are decreasing due to the surge in insurance companies being more involved in patient/dentist interactions. If you want to stay a business owner and continue to be profitable, dentist need to be operating their practice's differently than they did 10 years ago. The principals and ideas he suggest in this book are spot on with what the nations best dental consultants will teach you. Would you rather spend 30k and feel like you wasted your money or would you rather spend $20 on a book to decide if you want to see how deep the rabbit hole goes?

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Motivator, January 17, 2014
By Barbara J Beard
I've read a lot of management books, but it refreshing to read one that applies to today's issues and that is written by someone "in the trenches". Dr Kesner's story is one that a lot of dentists can relate to: burn out, overworked/under compensated, dealing with staffing issues, and an overwhelming feeling of frustration. This book is a must read for any doctor looking to turn their practice around and get started with a reenergized outlook and renewed sense of commitment to their practice. This book is a great motivator and will help anyone looking to change their practice.

1.0 out of 5 stars.  Not actually a book, January 08, 2014
By The expert in everything
This is not actually a book about building a multimillion dollar practice it is actually a pamphlet for Dr Kesner's consulting services. It may look like a book with its roughly 100 pages but don't be fooled. It has ridiculously large font and gives little useful information. All that I learned from this pamphlet is that Dr Kesner is rich because Jesus wants him to be rich and if you want to be rich as well you should hire him as a consultant.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Multi-Million Dollar Dental Practice, October 09, 2013
By Art Deden
Found the book to have a great deal of relevance and packed with information and ideas that would help any dentist improve the performance of their practice.

I have read other "practice management" books and found them filled with old ideas and common catch-phrases. Again, this book is relevant to most dentists in that most are struggling in this "new economy" to make it work. Dealing with insurance carriers, team members, HIPPA, irrational patients...and the like... make this book a must read!

2.0 out of 5 stars.  Mostly a Big Sales Pitch, June 09, 2012
By DJLow
Very little meat here. Dr. Kesner shares very little of what the reader could do or change to make their business better. Mostly, he repeats over and over and over how incapable you are of being able to build a successful practice like his on your own. You MUST have someone show you and coach you who has done this themselves (a dentist). In other words you need to sign up with Dr. Kesner and Quantum Coaching and pay him a lot of money for you to have ANY hope of reaching his level of performance. Like the other reviewer said, there is little useful tips or advice here. Mostly a Big Sales Pitch!
