These toothbrushes are well make and the natural bristles are soft but sturdy. My toddler is learning to "brush" his teeth which means he is chewing on the bristles. It is for this reason I went with natural bristles.
The length of the handle is perfect for a young child and I felt that the bristles were strong but gentle enough to brush my child's teeth.
