I do not enjoy using this shredder. It gets very hot after a period of use. and then it stops. I have to wait for ti to cool off before I continue my shredding. It is not convenient to use.

Works very well. I've jammed it a few times, but that's my fault. Pay attention to page limits. Also, if you let it get too full, it's kinda messy to empty, so don't do that.

I have had this shredder for a year now. Initially it shredded very well and quietly. The most it can probably handle is two pieces of paper in an envelope, or about four pieces of flat paper. The credit card/CD slot has always worked on and off, but now after getting numerous cards stuck (which then stops the main shredder slot from shredding), I have given up using this small slot. From time to time, the large slot decides not to work and I have to table my shredding for hours/days until it magically decides to work again. And as other reviewers have mentioned, when the shredder is full and you pull the drawer out, shredded paper gets EVERYWHERE. There is not an option to put a bag in this machine either so each time you shred you end up cleaning the floor and the drawer. All in all, it does shred paper and quietly. Just not cleanly or consistently. Also, I purchased this shredder for $55 in early 2013 and now I see it for $80+... Not worth the extra money in my opinion.

It fits in a narrow corner in my office perfectly. I have other brands that were loud when shredding; however this shredder is quiet. My only suggestion would be for the receptacle to have the ability to have a bag to catch the paper. When removing the container, there are shredding that have to be picked up. Having a bag to catch the paper would make removal cleaner.

Due to the design, the only way to empty the basket is to pull it out from the side and much of the shredded paper comes with it and ends up on the floor. I have tried several ways to empty the unit and every time...the floor is a mess! Look elsewhere for a lift-off design. No where in the description of this unit did it mention the slide out design, it should have.

This shredder operates quietly and fast. Mine came with a bottle of oil which is a great reminder to treat the blades to keep them sharp. The pull-out basket is a plus.
