2.0 out of 5 stars  Contains Lead And Unsafe For Children Or Pregnant Women
By Amber on February 02, 2016
I had been searching for a natural toothpaste that I could start using with my 1.5 year old. I came across this in a mommy blog and all the reviews were great so I ordered it. It came late even though I ordered it with the 2 day shipping but even more disappointing was the back of the bottle that says it may contain lead and is unsafe for children and pregnant women. No where is that written on the description of this item or else I wouldn't have purchased it. Sadly, it'll cost more to pay for shipping to return it than what it cost to buy it. But I do also have to point out that after contacting the seller I did get a prompt response.

It takes a while to get used to the mild weird taste but once you get past that it works great. And makes me want to brush more because I know I'm not bruising with a bunch of harmful things.

1.0 out of 5 stars  Not For Everyone
By MrsK on January 29, 2016
I'm sorry to say I'm not a fan of this product. It tastes like mud, makes a mess in the sink and my mouth didn't have a clean feeling afterward. When I saw it contained lead, I took it to my holistic doctor and he suggested I don't use it. He said in his practice he sees most people actually being fine with regular toothpaste and having issues with the ingredients in "natural" ones. I've tried Jason's and Tom's brand, and after getting cavities decided to stick with what my dentist recommends. I'm not saying these brands lead to cavities but I really don't enjoy dental work and would rather trust the professionals to advise prevention for my particular mouth. So far regular toothpaste, flossing and mouthwash has worked well for my dental health. That said, everyone is different and I'm sure this Eatthlaste works great for some. I'm just sharing my experience.

The pro is this company is great with costumer service. They answered my request to return quickly. The con is it costs more to return it for what I paid for it. If you open a tube, just know you won't be able to return it. I'd ask your dentist or doctor for advice before you use it if you think you may want to return it.

5.0 out of 5 stars  Great Toothpaste
By bluecrawford on January 28, 2016
I absolutely love this toothpaste. After realizing that SLS in other toothpaste brands was causing my discomfort I found this and haven't been sorry. If I could only get my other family members to give it a try, this gal would be happy.
