I will also preface this review by stating this chemical is used often in dentistry
After purchasing this item, I did a bit of research on the primary ingredient in this substance which is called HEMA (2-Hydroxylethyl methacrylate). There have been studies published which reveal both cytotoxic and genotoxic qualities after breakdown of the chemical which results primarily in the release of methacrylic acid. In other words, it can be toxic to cells and destructive to DNA; which could quite possibly result in cancer or other disease. I believe product safety information should be available on the product page as a consumer right. Use at your own risk.
