Product Description:

Second edition of a successful undergraduate textbook of dental radiography and radiology. The first edition was adopted in a large number of dental schools as it was the only book offering the dental undergraduate an account of both radiology and radiography presented in an accessible format with flow diagrams, short paragraphs and lots of illustrations.

The second edition has been thoroughly updated to take account of changes in film types, intensifying screens, X-ray equipment etc. Chapter 7 has been completely rewritten to incorporate changes in preventing cross infection. Digital radiography is now included, as well as information on the expanded treatment of CT and MR. Chapter layouts have been improved, and all illustrations now have text directly beneath them making it easier for students to pick out features relating to lesions.

Features:

  • Covers all the radiology and radiography needed for exams
  • Accessible format -- highly illustrated, short paragraphs, bulleted lists, flow diagrams
  • Clear line diagrams help the student interpret radiographs
  • Starts from the basics -- simple enough for undergraduate needs and contains adequate information for postgraduate revision
