No problem with getting the two volumes, July 07, 2012

I just recieved my two volume set without the issues that everyone else was talking about. Maybe they've done something to address it. I would order without hesitation. As far as the books themselves, if you are ordering them I'm sure you know what you are buying. This set is the industry standard for head and neck imaging.
Update: After spending a few months with this textbook, I've decided it is the perfect reference textbook. The images and discussion are exhaustive. The chapters proceed logically from embryology, to anatomy, to atlas-type frame by frame images, to pathology (rich with imaging examples). I look forward to the release of the expert consult Brain by Dr. Naidich.

Som and Curtin did it again. This is a great textbook. The bible of Head and Neck Radiology. The subject is complete and even includes PET/CT Imaging. The drawings and the images are beautiful. Every radiologist, neuroradiologist and ENT surgeon should have a copy of this book.

Incomplete set, July 26, 2011

I too received an incomplete set like the previous post. The rep just called me back at 1140 pm and stated it would be 1-3 weeks for me to get a new set, at which time I will have to return my volume two. I dont know why they just cant send me volume one by itself. I have already been charged for the books, so I'm stuck waiting.
The rating is more for amazon service on this book rather than the book. I will revise the rating once I get both books.

Incomplete set, followed by incompetence, July 26, 2011

This set was ordered by my wife, and they sent only volume 2 of the 2 volume set. When Amazon was contacted, after many conversations including ones between the rep and their "supervisor", they came to the conclusion that all of the information is in volume 2 based on the Table of Contents. At the end of it all, they have no way to get the complete set, and we have to return it. My advice is to simply by from the publisher, as Amazon cannot/ will not give you what you think you are ordering.
