5.0 out of 5 stars.  ... a comprehensive introduction into a certain topic I highly recommend this book, June 17, 2016
By Gianfranco Frojo
For any medical student for plastic surgery resident that needs a quick review or a comprehensive introduction into a certain topic I highly recommend this book. It gives you an understanding of the fundamentals at the core principles of plastic surgery which you need to go further in depth when you open specific books that specifically give you more surgical technique. It is not a comprehensive book in the sense that it will not tell you how to perform surgeries but it will set your fundamental knowledge that will allow you to build in the coming years. This is an excellent starting point for a plastic surgery resident even though a lot of people do not think that it provides enough detail but it's a quick read and makes a lot of sense you can read a chapter in afternoon or night easily without getting bogged down by extensive details that you would get with more detailed book

3.0 out of 5 stars.  A good overview, November 27, 2014
By ArmyDoc
Topic list is comprehensive, though the depth of discussion can be a bit rudimentary. Its readable and provides a good overview. More in depth reading can be done from the references if further study is needed.
