i used to watch this show when I was younger and now my toddler loves to watch Timmy and Brush Brush

these are sweet little productions from the nineties with soft-foam puppets created by the talented folks at jim henson's creature shoppe.
timmy is a happy-go-lucky, small-voiced little tooth-guy who has all sorts of adventures with his faithful companion Brush-Brush, a toothbrush shaped sort of dog stand in.
there are always musical numbers and themes of co-operation and tolerance are stressed.
look for this in discount bins at your local video stores, dollar outlets, and on amazon.com b/c they don't make them anymore, and that's a shame. my nephew has memorized most of the songs and we delight in putting the tapes on and singing along with Timmy.
"Molar Island" is his favourite. I'm thinking about ordering a back-up copy in case this one ever wears out, that's how much we think of it and how good it it is.
Sweet, well-made, harmless family fun hearkening back to an era before CGI and rampant product placement.
Enjoy these videos, we definitely did!

HI! THIS WAS ONE OF THE FIRST EPISODES I BOUGHT, AND I THOUGHT IT WAS EXELLENT!!! IT IS HILLARIOUS, AND I LOVE IT BECAUSE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IS IN IT: SIDNEY CYCLOPS. TIMMY DREAMS THAT HIM AND BRUSHBRUSH ARE GOING TO MOLAR ISLAND, AND FIND PEOPLE THERE THAT LOOK LIKE HIS FRIENDS BACK IN FLOSSMORE VALLEY. AT THE END, TIMMY RECIEVES A GIFT FROM CHEIF BUBBLES, AND THEN WAKES UP, AND THE GIFT IS LAYING ON HIS PILLOW! (FREAKY). BUT IN OTHER WORDS, I RECOMMEND THIS TAPE TO ANYBODY 2-7, AND I'M 100% SURE KIDS WILL CHERISH THIS TAPE LIKE I DO!

This is the third episode of "The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth."
Join the adventure when Timmy the Tooth takes an unexpected dream vacation to exotic "Molar Island." After a topsy-turvy airplane ride, Timmy and Brushbrush explore the tropical paradise. Much to their surprise, they discover the island is stinking... or is it sinking? And there may be even more danger in store when they're captured by the Gingivitis Tribe and invited to stay "for dinner!" (Uh-oh!) But never fear; brave adventurer Timmy has a plan that may just save the island - and his vacation - from going under.
