Orthodontics and Occlusal Management integrates present day understandings of craniofacial growth and development and relates this to occlusal management and the practice of orthodontics. There is extensive coverage of case assessment, management of the developing dentition, the principles of treatment planning and a demonstration of common procedures. At a practical level the use of removable, myofunctional and fixed appliances and their everyday management is fully described and illustrated, and the specialised treatment of major dentofacial anomalies is outlined. Significant sections on the assessment and management of mandibular dysfunction and the ageing dentition have been included.
