Since the advancement of “Wolff’s Law of Bone Dynamics” a century ago, the role of mechanical and other related factors in influencing normal and abnormal bone modeling and remodeling has been a topic of both basic and clinical research. This volume includes a series of papers that discuss a wide range of topics, including both basic principles of orthopedics and their direct clinical application to the treatment of patients with orthodontic and orthopedic problems.
