I bought this toothpaste because I wanted one that was SLS free and not too sweet. This toothpaste fits the bill and I really like it. I find though that I put a little bit more on my toothbrush because it doesn't foam up as much as regular toothpastes.

Only toothpaste that doesn't cause / worsen canker sores. If I get one they are way less painful than if I use a toothpaste with SLS. Lifesaver!

I get horrendous canker sores ALL THE TIME and I was desperate to try anything to ease the pain. I did some research and found out that a main ingredient in most tooth pastes (SLS) can aggravate or cause canker sores so I switched to this toothpaste that does not have SLS. SLS is really only used to make it foam so it is not important for your oral health anyway. I didn't think that this would really help but it did!! I used to have about 5 canker sores in my mouth at all times and now that I've switched to this toothpaste I usually only have 2 and sometimes I don't have any!! This doesn't seem like much but it makes a HUGE difference! It is easier to eat, talk, and interact with people when your mouth isn't in agonizing pain. I LOVE THIS TOOTHPASTE!!! The one downside is that it does not have a very strong minty flavor so it doesn't feel as clean and doesn't keep your breath fresh as long. However, this is kind of a positive in disguise because it helps me be more motivated to brush my teeth at lunch (which I never do) so that is helpful for my overall health as well! Definitely a small negative in comparison with the huge positives.
Also, the other HUGE positive about this is that it is cruelty free! It is very important to me to buy products that are not tested on Animals and Tom's brand is fantastic! They are natural, cruelty free products that are well worth the money. I will recommend this brand and product to everyone - especially those with any mouth issues!

Best solution for a canker sore sufferrer. It is almost as good as the discontinued Rembrandt toothpaste, and is the best I have found available today.

 Gentle, but not tasty

I like that this is sulfate and paraben free. When whitening toothpastes started to make my cheek peel inside, I had to switch to something more gentle. The only major downside to this toothpaste is the flavor - I don't find it all that minty or refreshing. In fact, it's sickeningly cloying (sweet) at the back of the mouth. I don't mind that when I brush before bed, but first thing in the morning, it can be nauseating. If they added a touch more mint to temper the bizarre sweetness, I'd be so much happier.
