I have no doubt that this toothpaste is better for my teeth, but it just doesn't get the job done for me. Very bland flavor that is not quite "minty". The texture is off as well, almost like brushing my teeth with oatmeal.
I will update with more details, but so far I have found that Weleda makes the best "super healthy" toothpaste/gel for my preferences. It provides more minty goodness and has a more traditional gel texture compared to the Peelu.

 Great for Keeping Plaque Away

This is the only toothpaste I've found that truly minimizes the plaque on my teeth. The only downside is that it doesn't leave much of a spearmint taste in my mouth.

Best natural toothpaste you could use. My dentist has asked me what I use because I have no cavities and so little plaque or tartar. I do have some receding gums, I started using Peelu about 20 years ago, It is the only tooth paste that doesn't make my gums sore, I am 64 years old and still have all my teeth, It contains nothing harsh all natural product, and best of all no fluoride, safe for everyone. The only tooth paste I will use.
