5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Book!, May 05, 2005
By A Customer
My son is 28 months old and has very little speech. He also has a problem sticking his tongue out and using his lips. It was if he just couldn't figure out how now matter how hard he tried. We tried practicing in a mirror and many other things. I didn't have much hope for this book but I figured it was worth a try. Well when we got it he began trying to stick out his tongue to the side just like the picture of the boy on the cover! I think the pictures of other kids help to motivate him and because the pictures don't change like a video. This enables him to be able look at the picture and try to mimic no matter how long it takes him. GREAT BOOK!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Fun for all preschoolers, April 01, 2003
By Erin Maiello (Stanhope, NJ United States)
This is a great book for all preschool kids whose oral motor skills are still developing. I am a teacher and a mom with a son who has articulation problems. We do the games and activities as a family and all of my kids ( ages 1, 3, 5) enjoy doing them. Speech therapy is really expensive and I was happy to get this guide to augment what the therapist is doing. I'm sharing the info with my son's preschool teachers and they love it too. The activities are simple, easy to understand, and use things you have around the house. Hats off to Ms. Orr. This is a must have for all preschool teachers, and the parents of any child with even mild articulation problems.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great Book!, April 01, 2000
By Big Daddy Garth (Dallas, TX)
This book is excellent! It is especially suited for both preschool teachers and teachers who deal with smaller children with mental disorders. I reccomend this book to any teacher of small children, as well as intersted parents.
