This feels like a scam, October 11, 2016

Definitely not hard cover for $150. First Asian Version and not for North America. This feels like a scam. The description does not match the product. The book even looks a bit used. I am very very disappointed I would give it zero stars if I could

I havc all nine editions and all new editions are nicely updated. The chapter on genetics for the practicing dentist is excellent. It meticulously integrates the science of molecular biology and clinical dentistry. This text should be required for all pediatric dental residents to read.

This book was recommended by Dr. Brent Lin, of the pediatric program at UCSF
While I bought it about a year ago, I only just finished reading most of it. It's very well written. It's concise without missing anything. Frankly, there's nothing that I can think to add or remove to this regarding the standard of care for pediatric dentistry.
Surprisingly, there's also a pretty well written section on pediatric practice management. There's also the best written material on the reconstruction of cleft lip and palate in any text that I've read.
This is the perfect book for dentists interested in understanding the standard of care, the protocols of treating kids, and the scientific rationale behind it. The only possible complaint is that this isn't equivalent to a pediatric residency (however, no book would be).
Highly recommended.
