Product Description:

This book is an excellent pocket-size paperback of 128 pages. There is a total of 201 color photographs, placed two on each page.

The book has been designed as a self-assessment guide on the diagnosis of the most common anomalies seen in pediatric dentistry such as developmental anomalies of the hard and soft tissues and dental anomalies due to systemic conditions as well as a fe rarely seen conditions.

There are 140 different conditions illustrated and up to three questions for each condition. The questions include: What is the diagnosis? What would be the treatment? Why was this radiograph obtained? How is it transmitted? What are the possible sequelae?

The conditions are placed in random order and not combined in subjects which enhances the learning experience. The succinct answers are found in the back of the book.

The reproduction of the color photographs or radiographs is of a high quality and readily depicts the particular condition.

In summary, this book is an excellent self-assessment guide which will increase the reader's diagnostic ability in pediatric dentistry. It should prove helpful to everyone involved in the care of children, particularly undergraduate and post-graduate dental students, dental practitioners, and pediatricians.

A very nice collection of Q & A that is a great review of many conditions not frequently seen in private practice.
