Too expensive
|

I've ordered this a few times but it's way too expensive to use all the time. I know they say just use a drop or two but it's so watery I always feel like I need 5 or 6 drops. For me I just don't enjoy the experience of using it because its so watery. I prefer some of the activated charcoal products instead, which seem to do a better job whitening and are a much much better value

I had purchased a different flavor last time. This batch tastes a bit "soapy".

I LOVE this stuff! My teeth feel as clean as though I just had them cleaned and polished at the dentist's office. I find the taste to just be lightly soapy, and am used to it now (NOT like childhoood days when Mom drug a bar of Ivory through my clenched teeth as a consequence for cussing!). It is very pleasant. I tried using Bronner's but that was too soapy tasting for me. I chose the Spearmint flavor. No lingering bitter/bad aftertaste like with commercial toothpaste. I like that my teeth are being cleaned and the enamel not worn away like with the grit found in regular toothpaste. I like there is no glycerin to coat my enamel (preventing re-mineralizing). I like how my teeth are becoming less sensitive the longer I use this product. I put 3-5 drops behind my bottom front teeth and start there. If I put them on my brush, they just run off into the sink. I found I initially needed to gently "shake" the bottle to evenly distribute the ingredients (like the way one would gently shake a bottle of nailpolish). Have not had to do that again since the first time. UPDATE: 9/29/27 After three bottles the "soapiness" finally just got to me. It wasn't a problem at first. I think I will go back to another no fluoride (or other unnecessary additives) brand I used before. Maybe give it a try again later.

LOVE tooth soap. Really cleans teeth and no chemicals. It does have a soapy taste to some people but my 12 year old son has used it for many years without complaint.

6 months in and still going strong
|

I bought this product in early June of 2015 to help me with my hyper sensitive teeth. As I am writing this review I still have 30% of it available. I use it in small dosses. Before going to bed I use 4-6 drops. Each morning 3-4 drops. Works like a charm.
I had a big problem. My teeth were incredibly sensitive to sour products such. Oranges, lemons even tomatoes and apples. At times a simple bite would send an electric shock down my spinal cord and into the brain.
Needless to say that regular toothpaste did't help me. In fact, I reached a point were it did more damage than good. Pain in my gums, mouth full of cavities, teeth feeling like glass every time I took a bite of something sour.
So I did a bit of research and came across this product. I still wasn't sure if it would help me with my sensitivity to sour problem, but I decided to give it a go.
After only a few days I noticed the first results.
My gum pain was gone, the cavities almost vanished and my tooth sensitivity to sour products decreased by a lot!
Finally I could eat more sour products. Not too much mind you,but it was huge progress.
No more glass feeling every time you ate an apple. Still couldn't it too much sour, but I found the solution to this problem(you can read it at the end the review)
I used to go to the dentist once every 6 months to clean my cavities. I simply had or the situation would spiral out of control.
After I started using tooth soap my visits decreased to once a year.
On my last check up my dentist said that my teeth look really healthy and strong.
Do I recommend this product?
Absolutely. Mind you this won't cure every tooth problem over night, but it helped me a lot and I plan on ordering more(though I'm torn between the liquid Tootsoap and the shreds).
Give it a try as I enjoyed it far more than conventional toothpaste.
P.S. Regarding my teeth sensitivity to everything that is sour. As it turned out I had a serious magnesium deficiency. This also meant that calcium could not be absorbed by the body translating into weaker bones and teeth hence the sensitivity.
For those of you who don't know, lack of magnesium in your body can prevent calcium from being absorbed. So sometimes you might not have a calcium deficiency but a magnesium one.
As soon as I bought magnesium and calcium supplements, my tooth sensitivity disappeared.
So if you want to get most out of this problem, you can also order a calcium + magnesium supplement.
Take care,
Dinu
