This remains an essential book on the subject of periodontology, which is well researched; every chapter is supported by a prodigious number of references, and clearly presented, chapter-by-chapter. This is a beautifully clear work and is an improvement, even on the previous editions, which were essential reading for both undergraduates and postgraduate dental students alike as well as hygienists and general dental practitioners.
