Product Description:

With the aid of 49 contributors, this clinically oriented, evidence-based text reflects the state-of-the-art in periodontics. It guides readers through the background knowledge needed to interpret clinical findings (anatomy, histopathology, microbiology, biochemistry), the examination, the use of a presumptive diagnosis to guide treatment and specific periodontal therapies including esthetics and implants. The text should be of interest to students and practitioners alike.

3.0 out of 5 stars.  A book for basic concept of periodontics, October 08, 2000
By "popoc" (Taipei, Taiwan)
I read the book when I was a 4 grade student in Dental School. The book was included lots of concepts of immunology and biochemistry, and the clinical practices was relatively rare.. I think this book is suitable for the basis of periodontal research, but not for dental clinican. However, I had learned lots of knowledge about cell kinetics about periodontics from the book. So I recommended this book to you who are interested in periodontics.
