Product Description:

The first of five books on gingival and periodontal diseases this volume takes the reader on a logical journey through the assessment and diagnostic processes to enable accurate diagnosis and identify those patients who are at risk from periodontitis.

Bridges the gulf between the complex pathobiology of periodontal diseases and their assessment and diagnosis in dental practice. Also demonstrates how the host responds to periodontal pathogens and reclassifies the diseases.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great learning and revision tool., May 29, 2006
By Lindsay. (Scotland, UK.)
I was fortunate enough to attend some lectures given by Dr Gilbert during my time at Dundee Dental School, i found her book very uselful whilst learning the subject for the first time, and have continued to find it useful since graduation. I'd recommend this book to any dental undergraduate (dentist, hygienist or therapist) or to a dental professional wishing to revise their periodontal knowledge and periodontal classifications.
