Product Description:

Cleared by the FDA, LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) is a non-surgical laser technology utilized to treat gum disease and regenerate bones, ligaments and gum tissue. LANAP is less invasive, often painless, and results in virtually no discomfort. For most patients, recovery is quick, and does not have any of the painful side effects that come with traditional "cut & stitch" gum surgery. When performed in mild to moderate periodontal disease conditions, LANAP is much more comfortable both during and after the laser gum therapy. Additionally, LANAP relies on your own body'scells to regenerate your tissues rather than the addition of materials from another human, animal or by synthetic materials.

Periodontal disease is the #1 reason for tooth loss and, once one tooth falls out or is removed, the risk of losing additional teeth greatly increases. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Periodontology, nearly 50% of all American adults aged 30 and over have periodontal disease. According to the author, periodontal disease is something that should always be treated by a board certified periodontist. Only 30% of periodontists in the United States achieve this board certification status. Other doctors may be able to learn how to perform the LANAP laser surgery but they typically will not to be able to comprehensively manage the treatment of the disease and its associated issues.

Patients need a specialist who has spent the vast majority of their studies and surgical residency training in the specific area of the Periodontium, the tissues that support the teeth including the gums, periodontal ligament and bone. In this book, Dr. Stoner also reveals the two critical questions you must ask your doctor before moving forward with LANAP laser gum surgery.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  What an informative book! A Must Have book if you require GUM SURGERY!, November 12, 2013
By Daisy S
For me, I am considering gum surgery and know nothing about it. This book is a must have for information BEFORE making a huge decision as gum surgery. And until I read this book, I did not know that laser surgery existed. This book is both informative and comforting to me.
It is helping me know more about gum treatments and what to expect in the future.

Highly recommend this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Everything you wanted to know about gum disease but were really AFRAID to ask, November 05, 2013
By Lenny
I didn't know anything about how important my gums are to a healthy smile. This book is easy to read and simply explains intricate medical stuff and oral anatomy such as cemento enamel junction, gingival collar, sulcus, sharpeys fibres and tubulars. Sounds boring, but it is not when you read about it in this book. The author did a real nice job with writing this book.

Dr. Stoner did my implants. Everything turned out perfect. My smile is restored. I bought this book because I am one of his biggest fans. Actually I learned a lot about gum disease, how to cure it and how to prevent it. I referred my friends and family to Dr. Stoner.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  All my questions answered, November 04, 2013
By Randy Ibe
I had a lot of questions when my dentist proposed I undergo this new laser gum surgical procedure. This book answered every question I had. If you have been diagnosed with periodontal disease, read this book. This disease is super common. The author states the CDC says 50% of all American adults aged 30 and over have gum disease. It doesn't sound serious but it really is.

4.0 out of 5 stars.  Great book on how to get rid of the problems of gum disease with a new LASER Process, October 26, 2013
By The-Serenity-Path-com, Mike Evans
Rathe well written, and easy to comprehend. I definitely won't use the old cut gum surgery. This lanap gum method is just about free of all pain, and i love the fact of the way he describes it all in detail.
