Got this from whole foods, and it doesn't disappoint. Cleans well while leaving the teeth/gums looking and feeling healthy. It also seems to support enamel, as my teeth look less stripped and more glossy.

I'm trying a bunch of natural alternative toothpastes. Good news. This is fluoride and SLS free, and has neem and xylitol. Bad news. It tastes like coal tar: soap, shampoo, whatever. The overwhelming flavor starts out with a trace of mint which I was rooting for, but by the end of two minutes, it is uber-chemical -- coal tar, creosote, mystery reagent -- you get the idea. (The taste reminded me of T-Gel Anti-Dandruff shampoo. ) Possibly effective, if you can stand to use it. There are videos online of people using this stuff and smiling?! Say what?
There's no discernible pomegranate flavor.
I suggest Xlear - Spry Toothpaste Flouride Free, 4 oz toothpaste instead. Sweet, fresh spearmint with the cavity-fighting advantages of xylitol.

Absolutely love this toothpaste! I switched from Tom's to this one and it's 1000x better. I love the taste! Highly recommend this toothpaste!!
