3.0 out of 5 stars  Not the same as the original

I have purchase this toothbrush since they came out years, several decades, ago. The actor Robert Urich promoted them. It was great, you teeth felt polished unlike the other ones available at the time which were pretty anemic. I got warranty replacements when the on off button wore out or the unit had battery issues after much use. No questions asked. BUT The last two I have gotten have both cracked at the top of the handle where the attachment cap sits. I love this toothbrush... Unfortunately I think the romance is over.

After reading reviews on Amazon, I thought this was comparable to a sonicare - it is not. I plugged it in charged it up turned it on and it was obviously a junk toothbrush. The motor might spin real fast - but the vibrations don't make it to the toothbrush head. I touched it to my hand and realized it was no better than a manual tooth brush. I've applied for a return - lets see what happens.

I suspect that the reviews I read were paid for spam.

I'm wondering how come the product link no longer has any reviews? I have trusted Amazon to keep sellers from scamming their market place - I will have to reconsider after getting this turkey.
