 BEWARE! Horrible Side Effect, November 30, -0001

There is a comfort in knowing that you are giving your baby a sterilized soother. While we were thankful to have this portable product, there proves to be a major drawback: it leaves the soother with a terrible smell and we assume taste (based on the gagging face our baby makes). It is a chemical smell. It occurs during the sterilizing process. It is so horrible that we still have to wash the soother afterwards. So, I'm not sure how effective this product is because of having to wash the soother again right after use.

Seemed kinda silly at first, but i use this multiple times a day! My baby is always spitting out his pacifiers and after reading and knowing babies who use pacifiers that haven't been sterilized they have introduced bacteria into the mouth therefore causing mouth thrush. Gross. The only alternative to this is the paci arm n hammer to go wipes.. Good on the go but for at home we use this all the time...uv-c light is amazing at killing germs, eliminating smells etc.. So glad to see a product like this designed for small items and safe compact design marketed towards babies!!

Never worked. Arrived in a box unscathed by the shipper and in it's original packaging which was also in good condition. The inside UV bulb never completely lit up. It only ever flickered (even after waiting a minute or two). Poor construction. Returning to Amazon.
