Don't boil this like I did. The green part will deform and your wife will hassle you for "ruining" it. My kid doesn't notice anything is different but if you look close it looks a little funny.

I bought this as a baby shower gift, I just love Eric Carle stuff & had to purchase this. It felt firm/ soft enough to teeth on and is also very cute and attracts little ones - even my 16 month old wanted to chew on it when he seen it!
