It caused some sensitivity while in use. However, it did not whiten my teeth noticeably. I will give it another try & update my review.

After reading the instructions and other reviews, I was very careful about how much of the product was applied to my custom trays made by my dentist. I tried three different times and all three times my gums started bubbling and holes were actually burned into my gums that were bleeding. This was after leaving the product on for mere minutes, if not seconds. Apparently this product is too strong for me and I will be seeking a refund. The marks left on my gums are sore and are visible for days. Worst whitening gel I've ever used.

I was nervous at first because I had never used a whitening gel of 36% before but this one comes with very understandable instructions and was easy to apply using trays that I already had. After the first few use I saw a difference and did experience a bit of sensitivity so I used a sensitive teeth formula toothpaste before and after whitening and it took care of the situation. By the third week my teeth had whitened about five shades and I have used only about one-third of the first tube so this has been a great choice in having a better smile without spending alot of time or money.

Totally useless. Noticed nothing no matter how long it remained on teeth. Barely foamed. Waste of time and money. My teeth have just daily stain - so any product should work.

Watts Power Professional whitening gel works as well as all the gel syringes I have bought from my dentist at a great savings in cost. I purchased the 36% strength which I have used before from my dentist. The results have been exactly the same as other products I have used. The syringe is large so there will many more uses from Watts. Another plus with this product is that it is supposedly made in USA vs other dentist brands which come from Europe.
