The purpose of this book is to present to students, teachers, and practitioners of dentistry the present status of the science and art of occlusion. Of necessity such a book has to deal more with applicable principles than with specific technical procedures. Principles of physiology, pathology and the therapy of occlusion form the basis for clinical practice in almost every branch odf dentistry, as the function of the masticatory system depends on the occlusion.
