1.0 out of 5 stars.  Way Too Small. Go with the next size up...at least, January 25, 2016
By Roadrunner68
Size: XL
Uses: Driveway mechanic; painting; occasional cleaning with harsh soaps / chemicals. "One and Done" throw 'em outs.
Pros: They're black & they're latex-free.

Cons: Way too small. Size is all wrong. I bought the XL's based on a number of reviews indicating that these gloves run big. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. These gloves do NOT run big. If anything, they're SMALLER than other XL's I've worn. For me, these are too short & tight in the fingers; the wrist opening is tiny; they're too snug all-around & too short in overall length in that they barely make it past my thumbs. They're a struggle to get on/off and too tight the entire time worn. And because they're so tight, the perspiration starts immediately. So, yeah, bad purchase by me. I'll give these to a friend or neighbor.

So that you have a frame of reference: I'm 6'3" 210 lbs, large hands, size 14-15 shoe. Also, measurement from tip of middle finger to the hinge-line of my wrist, right below the thumb, is 9". Based on the size of the XL's, my concern now is that the XXL's might also be too snug / too tight / too small for me. I may have to try a different manufacturer.

Trust yourself and go with your instincts. You know your history with sizing, whether it's shoes, shirts, gloves, etc. If you're in doubt, my suggestion is to go with the next size up. I say that because I use these to work on my car (not surgery or fire/rescue/EMT stuff), so I can live with it if they're looser rather than tighter. And even if they were a shade big, which these definitely are NOT, they're usually not so big that they'll slide off your hands while you're unscrewing an oil filter, right? Go Big!

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Tough comforable gloves, December 17, 2015
By NuclearPalsy
Hard to find gloves that fit my hands, don't tear easily, and allow me the dexterity I need to work.... These do and that's why I keep reordering them.

By SagansEuphoria
Very tough and durable. Bought them to work on the car, but use them for almost any other manual task; gardening, cleaning, etc.
