This is a wonderful book that was a childhood favorite! The messages are clear and positive. Differences are not bad, embrace your friends for who they are! Clearly this book was written a long time ago as the father bird is smoking a pipe while carpooling and while fixing a snack for Heather! You don't see that anymore! Also, the author is named LEATIE not LESLIE. Fix that error Amazon!
