Product Description:

Raina Telgemeier's #1 New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award-winning graphic memoir based on her childhood!

Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

Shows how problems become better. It's really interesting. Braces aren't that bad and they're helpful. Shows emotions and how to stick up and stand out

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Amazing book, good read, March 21, 2016
By W. Jeon
I really loved this graphic novel. Raina has to go through having her front teeth knocked out, being teased and left out at school, and all the dentist and orthodontist appointments, which by the way can not be good for her sanity. It was a good story with a good plot with good characters and yeah. It didn't have any bad language and was completely appropriate for kids. It met my expectations perfectly and I can't wait to read the sequel, Sisters.

5.0 out of 5 stars.  Great book to read together, March 08, 2016
By Michael
It's an interesting book that I have wanted to read with my sister. She really likes it too. I bought this for her because growing up my parents couldn't afford to give me money to buy from the Book Fair at school so I felt left out when other kids got the books they wanted. I'm glad I could get this book for her and we could read it together. Can't wait to read more from the author.
