This book is an excellent text to use for children who are worried about being slower than their peers in losing their teeth. It skilfully addresses some of the developmentally appropriate emotional issues involved in a common, but amazing process. For some children, this book can have meaning during a tough social time; the meaning can also be extended to a discussion of other developmental differences that may cause emotional stress.
