This was the most realistic of all the dentist books we've tried. There are no scary shot pictures but they do show the little tooth poker and mirror the dentists use. My kids love it.

This book really helped my six year old son wiht special needs work past his fear of the dentist. For the first time he actually sat in the dentist's chair and let him do more than just count his teeth! I liked that there were actual photos instead of just illustrations.

This book was a real lifesaver. We have a son with autism and the last few trips to the dentist have been a disaster. We bought this book and some dental tools here on amazon and we had a great trip to the dentist. Our dentist was very impressed with how well he did. It is important to front load our son with expectations and this book fit the bill perfectly.

I bought this book before my 2 year old went to her first dentist appointment. She loves the book and continues to make me reread it. It follows the story of two siblings who go to the dentist. The brother learns about plaque and proper brushing technique while the sister learns she has a cavity and gets it treated. I like the pictures and the use of dentist words.

I purchased this book to read to my son before his first trip to the dentist. It was very helpful and I would suggest it to other parents who think their child may have anxiety about going. We read it several times in the days just before our appointment - very helpful!
