It smelled AWFUL and ROTTEN. This is NOT supposed to smell like wet vomit. It's supposed to be dry and have a faint wood-y smell. All 5 smelled rotten. Do NOT buy from Amazon. This is a lot of caps lock, take that as my despair.

They are horrible. Dry and it crumbles in your mouth. Has no taste what so ever, that a real miswak should have. This product from this company should be taken of the market. its fake and useless.

I LOVEEEE Miswaks. I'm so happy I have a Miswak holder because I just put it in my purse and I use it when I'm out. It's so easy to use and the benefits of it is equal or better than a regular toothbrush/toothpaste. I still use my toothbrush and paste every now and then but I mainly use this and the effects are the same. I was so amazed how CLEAN my teeth felt after the first time I used these. I'm so happy I discovered Miswaks and I will forever use them.

5 miswaks and holder

I ordered these for a few reasons. One, what did people use before there were tooth brushes and tooth paste? two, i heard it helps stop smoking.
I've been using a blotting brush for over a year, no toothpaste. This is a welcome addition, first i blot, then i rub the bristles of the miswak over my teeth and gums (after i've chewed it to make bristles) The tarter on my teeth has lessened. Maybe someday i'll be confident enough to stop blotting and only use the miswak. My son declined to use it to help him stop smoking. :-(

I can't give it a 5 because I just don't care for the taste & the little fibers that come off while you chew it. But I'm guessing it does what they say...I just haven't gotten that far yet.
