I've never tried anything like this before

I've never tried anything like this before. After researching natural and healthy ways to clean my teeth/gums, I came across Miswak articles. I was fascinated. It's funny, that not many years ago I had wondered what people did for strong clean teeth before the tooth brush/paste came along. I would assume this is what they did, or similar tree branches. I bought the 36 individually wrapped complete with each one having its own holder. I knew that was a big leap in case I didn't like them, but it has so many benefits, so easy to use, that I thought whatever problems I have with it, I must get through it, and not give up on it to easily. I read up on everything I buy from from Amazon and most larger ticket items I buy outside of Amazon. I never had to return one single item I've ever bought on Amazon. EVER. In getting to the Miswak sticks. They are vacuumed packed (each one) I chewed on the end as it is a pretty soft bark. The bark tasted a little bitter, but surprisingly, mild and tolerable and the bitterness last for just a moment and quickly dissipates. I then chewed enough of the bark to expose the bristles and chewed on them for just a moment to make them soft. Then I gently wiped the bristles across my teeth, and then reached up to the back of my teeth as if Im "painting my teeth" pressing lightly along my gum lines. very easy to do. Once the bristle is exposed, there is really no taste. That's good. My mouth overall felt clean and fresh. Not like overly powered mouthwash or paste, just clean. What a great product this is. I also read where if the bristles are to hard, soften them in rose water, or just water. I put one stick into its holder for my purse, one by the phone on my desk. I enjoyed chewing on this as I was reading my book, or on the internet. I wrote my name on the holder so my sons and I didn't mix them up. (that wouldn't be good) they like it too. Now I can have fresh breath anytime as Ive tried to stay away from spearmints and peppermint, cinnamon. they actually caused my lips to chafe. Most gums and mints, breath fresheners have that. Its why I cant use them. Great product/ worth the money/ will buy over & over.

The quality is outstanding, only not big in size. I found that a bit disappointing, because I actually bought for that reason.
