unusual tooth cleaner

There were 2 sticks and one holder in my order. There are no legible instructions included, so I searched online. I'm honestly not sure if I will buy any more when these wear out. I give them 5 stars because the quality was just as promised, and they are exactly what they are supposed to be. They take some getting used to. It didn't taste bad, but the smell is highly unpleasant to me. I tried to add some mint oil, and I added too much! If you use oil flavoring, you only need a drop or two. Soaking it in water overnight helped a lot. You need to let it dry out before using, or it crumbles. They are a nice way to freshen up your teeth between brushing. You won't get that minty kick or breath freshening, but it takes the sticky feeling off your teeth. The included carrier is nicely made and perfectly sized. I haven't seen any whitening, but I don't use it very often. You will get loose pieces in your mouth, so be prepared to spit, or pick them out of your mouth. I never use the miswak in front of anyone.

Don't waste your money. I bought this as a gift --- did not know it was made in Pakistan -- the instructions are in Arabic --- what a joke -- put it right in the garbage -- shame on you Amazon for selling this sort of merchandise ! TERRIBLE PRODUCT

Nothing about this miswak worth using

The miswak was more like a piece of tree branch found most anywhere. If you don't mind "brushing" your teeth with a regular small tree branch, then you are fine.
