Very useful and very informative!
The book reviews what anaesthetics are, how they are used, and what amount they should be used to be safe and reversible such that the one made asleep, no matter human or pet animal, would be able to regain conscious once again!!

 A book to read before your operation?, January 23, 2013

With the knowledge that I was going to have a rather long anaesthesia for major spinal surgery this was a very interesting book to read. As a nurse and ex OR nurse I appreciated the historical side of the book and how far anaesthesia had come in 100 years.
