 Better than the $1000 loupes I bought and returned!

I bought these loupes when early on in dental school, they were economical and I always thought I would upgrade later. I used them and they worked wonderful, range is great and vision is clear. I finally decided to "upgrade" and shelled out over $1000 for a pair of loupes from a well known loupes brand. They were uncomfortable in comparison, and the quality of image was very poor, again, in comparison. Just goes to show spending tons of money isn't necessarily going to get you a better product.
These loupes have worked great, and continue to do so. I am going to purchase a second pair to have as back up. I definiately prefer flip ups (like these) over through the lens, as I like to look at my patients teeth with regular vision mutiple times in the appointment, and having the ability to flip them up is a life saver for my neck. I can wear there comfortably throughout an appointment without them feeling too heavy.
