Better quality control would make this a five star product.

I have used this product daily for perhaps five years. The design and quality are better than any other dental picks on the market, including the far more expensive brush picks. Most of the time, the picks are all properly manufactured, but on three occasions, the error tolerance in a particular batch was too high and resulted in 5-10% defective, unusable picks. This is unacceptable and needs to be corrected, or the reputation of the product will suffer.

The old ones had softer plastic. These ones are harder on the gums. Still good, just not great.

These are great for the wide spaced areas, but I found them a little hard on my gums where the spaces are smaller. They aren't quite as soft as I'd expected, and therefore felt a bit aggressive. My gums ended up bleeding. That may just be me and my sensitive gums though.
I threw the pack in my purse, but haven't yet used them since my first try.
Perhaps I'll come back to this one and update later.
